Gokshuradi Gugglu

Gokshuradi Gugglu is the blend of several herbs, which are traditionally used in Ayurveda in the treatment of Pitta (Fire) and Vata (Air) related genital system and urinary tract disorders. It aids in the removal of toxins from the body and maintains proper health of the urinary system. The key component of this Ayurvedic compound is “Gokshura” which rejuvenates, tones the kidney, bladder, urethra and reproductive organs. It balances all the tri-doshas (pitta, vata and kapha) in the body. Gokshuradi gugglu revitalizes the kidneys and also supports good health of male and female reproductive system.

Gokshuradi Gugglu is a traditional polyherbal preparation that is primarily indicated in Ayurveda for use in the event of disturbance of the Vata and Pitta Doshas, which primarily disturbs the kidney and genitourinary functions. It consists of various herbs, and each of them possesses many curative properties. With its strong diuretic and anti-lithiatic properties, it benefits the kidneys. It is very effective in treating and managing diseases such as kidney stones, urinary tract infection, urinary distension, urinary calculi, dysuria, micturition difficulty, burning micturition, gout osteoarthritis, diabetic nephropathy etc.

Method of Preparation

• Wash the herbs and dry them in the sun properly
• Powder the herbs separately into powder
• Place each of these powdered herbs in direct sunlight for 3-4 days until there is no water content left
• Boil the amount of Gokshura needed in water until the quantity of water becomes half
• Heat the Gugglu in a separate pan until it reaches the semi-solid state
• Add this Gugglu and the remaining powdered herbs to the gokshura mixture
• Stir it well so that all gets mixed
• Use the palm to roll the semi-solid paste into gutikas or tablets
• Keep them in amber-colored glass bottles to be used later

Dosage

• Administer 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day, with or without food or as advised by an Ayurvedic physician.

Prevents Kidney Stones

Kidney stones, also known as Nephrolithiasis or Renal calculi, is the growth and deposition of small stones in the urinary bladder and urinary tract. Imparted with anti-lithiatic (scraping) property and Diuretic or Mutral property, Gokshuradi Gugglu prevents the development of kidney stones and facilitates to break or decrease the size of the developed ones and thereby in turn avoids multiple underlying health limitations such as polycystic kidney disease, kidney stones, and cystitis.

Gouty arthritis is medically a form of inflammatory arthritis which is primarily defined by a buildup of uric acid crystals within the joints. It is typically sensed by abrupt onset of attacks of pain, discomfort, redness, swelling, and tenderness in one or more joints.
